You don’t make money in the NFL laying big favorites like this. That said, I am unable to make an argument for betting Washington in this game. This is something I do for almost every game I play. I try to make a legit argument for the other side. This is a way to poke holes in my own handicap. I suggest you all do that too. Anyways, I couldn’t come up with anything for Washington except for maybe this is a divisional game. Aside from that, the Eagles blew out the Bucs on the road last week when Jalen Hurts and several people on the team were sick. I can make an argument that the Eagles haven’t played their best yet this year. Now the Commies looked like hot garbage last week. Sam Howell held the ball for too long, threw a bunch of interceptions and the defense could not stop anyone. This is a problem. If Howell continues to hold the ball for long periods of time in this game, he may not complete this game. The Eagles defensive line is really good. They will make him pay and we may see Jacoby Brissett before it’s all said and done. I normally don’t advocate for laying points like this but it is a strange week. I’m on the Birds big.
