NFL Futures: Cleveland Browns

We are back for the ‘23 / ‘24 Season! We are going big right from the start. I am all over the Cleveland Browns this year for all their futures. +3500 to win the Superbowl. +1800 to win the AFC. +380 to win the AFC North. You can even throw in the over 9.5 wins +115, if you’re feeling spicy. This one should be straightforward and gives an idea of my handicapping philosophy. Forget the hype and the media narrative. In fact, I like to fade that. Buy into talent - Cleveland has the best RB in the NFL, a top 5 offensive line and a top 5 defensive line. They have improved the secondary and have legitimate weapons in Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore, DPJ and David Njoku. Kevin Stefanski is a few years removed from a Coach of the Year award. The only “wildcard” here is the QB, Deshaun Watson. He played pretty bad last year. However, if he is able to be a top 10 / 12 QB this year, they are a playoff team. If he is able to regain top 5 status, as he was with the Texans, this is a real SuperBowl contender. My last factor in handicapping is value and you are getting it in spades here. Go ahead and put down some money on Cleveland this year, I believe you will be able to hedge out at the end of the year, as this is a really good team.
