Best Bet: Minnesota Vikings -6 (-110)

I hope everyone saw how terrible the Vikings looked in primetime last Monday. I assure you every Joe Public mouth breather watched that and jumped right off the Vikings bandwagon. Well, now I’m getting Kirk Cousins in the 1pm window, at home, in one of the best home fields in the NFL, against an ultra public dog in the Lions. I’m all over the Vikings here. I don’t love to lay this many points in division, but the Lions defense is POOR. I expect their bad secondary to get lit up. Go ahead and start Justin Jefferson and Thielen in fantasy - they are gonna eat. There’s way too much positive sentiment in the market about a Lions team that is still a year away. I love their story, I love Dan Campbell, I love me some ARSB. All of that is great. Their offensive line really is one of the best in the league - no lie. But, we all need to calm down here. With Minnesota’s 3 point home field advantage, this line implies that the Vikings are only a 3-point favorite against the Lions on a neutral field. No. After two poor showings against the Lions last year and a bad outing on Monday, I expect the Vikings to plunder today.
