For the queasy feeling at 3:30pm EST feeling pick of the week, I present to you betting on Carson Wentz. God help me. Every time I bet on Commander Carson, it’s an adventure. I vividly remember him costing me a game last year because he decided to throw a pass left handed (he’s righty), that led to a horrific game ending interception. So why would I do this to myself. Well, the Eagles looked almost too good on Monday. One thing to note though, the Vikings kept giving the ball away in the endzone. If the Eagles could be had this year, it’s through the air. Carson Wentz has been throwing the ball very well all year. I expect him to be doing so today. If Washington didn’t totally shit the bed in last week’s first half against Detroit, they woulda had a shot to win the game. Also, This line was +4.5 before Monday night. What changed? Yes, the Eagles looked good but not Bills utter destruction of the Titans good. They were favored by 2.5 to win a home game on Monday night. They did great and won the game. So why a two point upgrade? Not to mention this is a divisional road game. Washington ALWAYS plays Philly tough at home. Even when Washington is bad and Philly is good. This is too many points.
