Washington Football Team +7 (-110) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

12/5/20 Best Bet: HTTR!! I’m on Washington this week because I really think we are getting good value on this line. Yes, my power rankings show this should be around -9.5 on a neutral for the Steelers but there are some factors that aren’t as obvious in this one. First, I’m getting the Football Team coming off of a LONG rest (they last played Thanksgiving and this game is on Monday) and this is pretty much a defacto bye for them. Second, the Steelers have been through a lot over the past week and a half. Their games keep getting moved and they’ve had a lot of uncertainty. Finally, this is really all about the spot. After beating their main rivals, the Ravens, on Wednesday and getting a short week, the Steelers will have to turn around and care about the “lowly” Football Team. I think this becomes a look ahead spot for the Steelers with a big Sunday night game in Buffalo next week that will be more meaningful in the AFC playoff picture. Pittsburgh has now also lost Bud Dupree after already losing Devin Bush and Maurkice Pouncey was placed on the COVID list and might not be ready in time for this game. I think this is a perfect storm for Washington to cover the line. I took this earlier in the week when it was +8 but I believe this play works up until +7. I would not take anything less than +7 on this play.
