9/19/21 Best Bet: Indianapolis Colts +3.5 (-110)

I love Week 2: Overreaction Week. Last week we saw the Rams trounce the Bears on primetime. “The Bears must be terrible! Look at that great Rams defense!” We also saw the Colts get beat at home by Seattle becoming one of the few underdogs to actually lose last week. “The Colts stink!” Carson Wentz must be bad again!” Well, I will be using these biases to get me what at least is an extra point in value here. An extra point that pushes this spread over a field goal. I don’t think the Colts are as bad as they looked last week. Eric Fisher is back on the line. Quenton Nelson is also another week removed from his injury. I get a good coach in Frank Reich that was easily beaten at home last week playing again at home. I do not think this is the cakewalk Rams fans expect it to be. I’ll gladly take the 3 and a hook in this game with the solid Colts defense after being embarrassed. The thing that is getting overlooked is the Rams defense didn’t look great. In fact, they gave up a lot in the run game. Now I have Jonathan Taylor, Nyheim Hines and Marlon Mack rotating in and out. Don’t be shocked if the Colts are driving to win the game with 1:30 minutes left in this game. The Colts at home with the points.
