To the untrained eye this play seems and looks incredibly square. Laying two scores to a divisional opponent! The same team that beat the Dallas Cowboys outright the week before. Yea, I would argue this is a very sharp play. I have my highest ranked team in the NFL (co-ranked with the Eagles) against what I perceive is the second worst team in the league. The Cardinals have covered every single game this year. Aside from a very select few people, who has bet the Cardinals this year? I did last week against the Cowboys, but that was because it was an obvious letdown spot for Dallas. Now, I get the Niners off of 10 days rest going up against a divisional team that they saw isn’t a total pushover. San Fran will take this game seriously. Brock Purdy has been really good at home since taking over last year and he’s been blowing teams out. They blew out the Bucs and Tom Brady! It’s been a nice story with Arizona but if you look over the historical trends, teams that win as a double digit underdog one week and are double digit dogs again the next week…usually get smoked. I expect that here.
