Best Bet: New Orleans Saints -5 (-110)

The Saints did everything right last week in London to win that game. Sure, I jumped the gun a bit getting on them earlier in the week. But, I did so knowing that Andy Dalton and not Winston was going to play. The big shocker to me was the absence of Kamara. The line closed with the Saints getting 4.5 points, which they covered. This is a new week and I have heard a bunch of chatter about now taking the points with the Seattle Seahawks might be a good idea. What?! While everyone is talking about how Seattle and Geno look so good so far this year and all the Russell / Geno comparisons, everyone just seems to be overlooking that the Seattle defense is straight up garbage. This team just gave up 45 points to the Detroit Lions (who were missing their two best offensive players!). Two weeks ago, I was making the case for why Seattle is one of the worst teams in the league. Think back to the beginning of the season and your thoughts on the Saints. They were a dark horse contender to win this division over Tampa. Their defense is one of the best in the NFL. What has changed? Winston broke his back. Kamara has been hurt. Aside from that, the Saints are still a good defense. Andy Dalton is certainly capable against this bad Seattle defense. New Orleans needs a win and the Seahawks come in flying high. Gimmie the Saints. Who Dat!
