Green Bay Packers -3.5 (-110) vs. Tampa Bay Bucs

1/23/21 Best Bet: So, this is the swallow my pride pick. I have been against the Pack basically the whole year. I have thought that LaFleur was smoke and mirrors, that Rodgers was on the decline and that their run defense has been so bad that it will bite them in the ass. Well, after yet another 13-3 year, it’s time to admit I was wrong. About it all. LaFleur sure seems like he’s the real deal, just look at how awful McCarthy was and has been over the last 3+ years. Rodgers maybe needed the spark of them drafting another QB and run defense might just not be that important in the NFL, since, you know, no one runs the ball. Anyways, the Packers are probably the most well rounded team in football. They normally get out to big leads and let off late in games. I just think Rodgers is LOCKED in right now. As for Tampa, who’s easily the best defensive team left in the final four, they might not have enough. Yea, they won big in New Orleans last week, but let’s be real, Brees looked disgusting. And Tom Brady had two interception near misses and generally did just enough. Aside from that, Brady looked very pedestrian. I don’t think he will have the ability to throw to anyone but Chris Godwin. Mike Evans will be locked down by Jaire Alexander and Antonio Brown is out. While I do believe Fournette will get his in the running game, I don’t think it will be enough to go toe to toe with Rodgers / Davante Adams. It’s gonna be nippy in Green Bay too, which helps the Packers. Rodgers will be going to Super Bowl #2 tomorrow.
