Given almost every single report we’ve heard over the last 2+ years about Russell Wilson’s persona and his “relationship” with his teammates, I’m guessing many of them are secretly happy he got benched. I believe many of them see through his “politician” bit, as Sean Payton put it, and will play much harder for newly named starter Jarrett Stidham this weekend. I also know that Payton is a much better coach than this Griff / Giff guy the Chargers are trotting out there. I think the Broncos can win this game by a touchdown versus a Charger team that knows they are done for the year. Just look at Keenan Allen. If the team felt they were still in the playoff hunt, he would be playing. I think they know they are donezo and their QB is Easton Stick. Last week the Chargers got the lift from firing their coach and almost upset the Bills. What’s their motivation this week? I think the Broncos will handle business at home here.
