It’s late in the year, where value is found in playing bad teams. How about the worst team in the whole league? Why not. The Panthers are finally at full strength defensively and while coming off of a loss, must be heartened by what was Bryce Young’s best performance of the season. Sure, that came against a Packers defense that will most certainly fire their defensive coordinator at the end of the year. But, the Jaguars defense, especially their secondary is not playing much better. There’s also huge concerns around whether Trevor Lawrence will be the quarterback. Recent history shows that he will probably tough it out and play. He’s been bad trying to play through injuries. If he doesn’t play and it’s CJ Beathard, this line is a gift. Overall, the Jags have not shown me much this year. Basically winning games in mediocre fashion and getting dominated at other times. I like the Panthers to potentially win the game outright.
