10/17/21 Best Bet: NY Giants +8 (-110)
Let’s do some math, shall we? Just 2 days ago the Giants were +10 at home to the LA Rams. Assuming the Rams have 1 point home field advantage (there would definitely be at least 40% Giants fans in that building), that means the Rams would be -12 in LA. Wow. Rams -12! Are the Rams the best team in the NFL? No. Are the Giants the worst team in the NFL? No. Then why the hell would the Rams be laying double digits on the road in NY?! Now that we know Danny Jones and Sterling Shepherd are playing, the line has moved 2 points in the Giants favor. So, Daniel Jones is only worth 2 points over Mike Glennon? No. Danny Dimes is mobile and gets 100% of the first team reps since training camp. Mike Glennon is on his 5th NFL team in like 6 years. My power ratings show this game as Rams -6 on a neutral field. Assuming the Giants have as 2 point home field advantage, the line should be Rams -4. The line is 8. The fuck? I don’t want to hear the whole, “Matt Stafford and this offense” nonsense. The Giants defensive “strength” is their secondary. Anyways, take the points, thanks for coming to NFL Math 101.
