Let’s go all the way back to last year. The Pats went into LA to play the Chargers. The Pats steamrolled them worse than any team for that whole year, 45-0. Granted, that was Anthony Lynn and not Brandon Staley. While this iteration of the Chargers is a real Super Bowl contender, it’s still Belichick against a young QB and a rookie head coach. I believe the real edge here is that the Chargers will have no homefield advantage – the stadium will be 75% Pats fans. The Chargers like to concede the run to not give up big plays over the top. The Pats love to run which also shortens the game. I love the Chargers. I think they may still win this game. I just think this is too many points.
