2 Team Teaser: Ravens + 8.5 / Browns +16 (-110)

1/16/21 Best Bet: The best football weekend of the year is upon us. No more pretenders in this bunch. With that said, games tend to be played a little tighter. I’m on a two-team teaser with the Ravens up to +8.5. I believe the Ravens have a very legit shot to win outright but it’s hard to get in front of the Buffalo train. With that said, I expect more rushing the Ravens here, which will set up the pass. The Ravens defense is really the key to this game. If they can hold Josh Allen & company under 28 points, they can win. I think they step up and do just that. They need to keep the game within one score and they will. As for the Browns +16, its gross. I know. No one wants to be in front of the Pat Mahomes train. You already know all the stats, most important of which, the Chiefs haven’t covered in 7 weeks. The Chiefs in last years’ dominant playoff run only covered 16 points once. And that was against the terrible Texans defense. I think the Browns defense is at least better than that Texans defense from last year. Also, the Browns are built with a structural advantage for this game: they can run the ball. Every team that was able to run the ball this year has kept it within shouting distance of the Chiefs. I love the 16, it opens up the backdoor in a blowout scenario. Gimmie the Ravens +8.5 and the Browns +16.
