Tampa Bay Bucs +5 (-110)

I believe it was the late, great Bubba Sparxxx that once said, “let’s get ugly!!”. Ok, I don’t think Bubba is dead but I do think we need to get ugly. Full disclaimer: I still have the Eagles listed at the top of my power rankings, for now. I do think at full strength we get a blowout by the Eagles here. But, let’s look deeper. We aren’t getting the Eagles at full strength. You are getting a Philly team down their starting LB, a starting safety and a starting CB. It was clear what Minnesota and Kirk Cousins was able to do last week taking advantage of all of these injuries. (Yes, Philly won but didn’t cover). Now, they are faced with a similar task. Up against a team with two very good receivers - Evans and Godwin and an erratic QB - Baker. The difference this week though is they will not be able to just run all over the Bucs like they did the Vikings. The Bucs have a top 2 run defense. The last time these two teams met, Todd Bowles shut down Philly’s run scheme and Jalen Hurts got blown out in his first playoff game. Todd Bowles is now the head coach but nothing changes. Hurts has to win this game with his arm. He might. I’m willing to take 5 points to find out.
