TB Rays (B. Snell -L) -110 over NY Yankees (M. Tanaka -R)

8/18/20 Best Bet: One day on the Yankees, next day off. There are no “favorites”. Money should be the “favorite”. That said, I’m on the Rays tonight. While Tanaka has been good, Snell has been better. Snell comes into Yankee Stadium with a 2.08 ERA and a 2.49 xFIP. His record is 1-0…This tells me that he’s been unlucky. Luck eventually turns around. With most of the Yankees big bats out, I expect Snell to dominate. The Rays should be able to to scratch together enough hits to get the win here. Give me the rested Rays tonight to close the gap on the Yankees in the AL East standings.
