Best Bet: Houston Texans +5.5 (-110)

Let me first say, it’s an ugly week…Ok, now that we have that out of the way. I’m on the Houston Texans this weekend. More like, I’m off the LA Chargers. Full disclosure: I took the Chargers to win the title this year. Early too. Right when the Super Bowl futures came out, I was on it. But this Chargers team is much different from the one that started the season. The star QB, Justin Herbert, has 4 broken ribs. He gutted it out and played last weekend and after they got down big to the Jags, the head coach kept him in for the entirety of the game. Why? That’s the type of move you lose your team with. Even Jaylen Guyton, the #3 WR tore his ACL on the last play of the game. Why was he in? They were down by 28. Joey Bosa got injured and he’s out for at least 3 or 4 games. Keenan Allen is going to miss this week. The starting LT, Slater is now out for the year. JC Jackson is banged up. Look, I don’t think the Texans are good. They are one of the worst teams in the NFL but they are coming off of a loss and playing at home. They already beat a healthy Chargers team last year 49-21 last year, so they have the confidence. This looks like a FG game in either direction.
