Pittsburgh Steelers +9.5 (-110) vs. Cleveland Browns

1/2/21 Best Bet: Yea, I know this is one of those “must wins”. Cleveland HAS to win! Pittsburgh is sitting all their starters! The Browns are just gonna steamroll them right?! Since I’m not Vegas Dave, the real answer is maybe. But here’s what I am sure of, getting +9.5 points, even with Mason Rudolph is a great value. For one, Mason Rudolph is going to be supremely motivated. This is his revenge game. Remember last year when Myles Garrett tried hitting him over the head with his own helmet? And then Garrett accused Rudolph of calling him a racial epithet. I’m pretty sure Rudolph wants to do well here. Second, Mike Tomlin’s best attribute as a coach is a motivator. He will have his team up in this game with his rah-rah style. Third, Baker Mayfield can’t handle pressure well. The Steelers will bring pressure, regardless of personnel. It’s their scheme. And finally, who are the Browns to be laying almost double digits to anyone? They outright lost to the Jets (yes, no WRs) and didn’t cover against the Jags and the Browns (twice). That’s the list of the worst teams in football right there. So yea, gimmie the Steelers.
