Disclaimer: I still think the Pats will be the worst team in the NFL. That does not preclude me from making a smart bet. While I am not as high as basically everyone on the Seahawks this year, I know they are the better team. My power rankings say they are the better team. However, I do not think they should be a full 3 point road favorite in this spot. This is the second longest trip a team could make in the NFL (Seattle to Foxborough), the Pats feel great about actually winning a game and New England will ugly this up. It’s quite possible that the Seahawks offensive weapons just win against this pretty bad Pats defense. However, I am not ready to lay points with Geno Smith on the road, no matter the situation. Close your eyes and take the points.
