Chicago Bears +8 (-110)
The Detroit Lions offense looks amazing. They just kept going up an down the field last week, scoring at will. Now they are back at home playing a soft defense. Full disclosure I loved this game at +10, +9.5 and +9. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one. I still like the Bears to keep it within one score. Justin Fields is back and he’s playing for his career. Not necessarily with the Bears, as they might move on next year but in the league. There’s a real chance that Fields isn’t a starter next year unless he shows out the second half of this year. The Lions defense can be beat, especially the secondary. The pass rush of the Lions, that everyone seems to fear, is mitigated by the mobility of Fields. Throw in the look ahead spot and short week for the Lions (the possibility they pull players early) and you have the recipe to take the points in a divisional game.
