There is an impression out there that the Cowboys just blow everyone out all the time. And while they certainly do have their fair share of big victories, they did lose to the Cardinals this year. If handicapping the NFL was simple as figuring out which team had the most talent, scouts would be multimillionaires and no one would watch the games. Fact is, motivation is the hardest element to predict. In this game, I have a desperate, upset and reeling team at home with everything to play for. The Panthers are sick of being embarrassed. On the other side, I have a team very fat and happy that has to travel as big favorites to play one of the worst teams in the NFL. Oh, they have a nationally televised game against a division opponent four days later. This won’t be the first letdown game the Cowboys have had this year. Gimmie the Panthers to keep it within double digits. Oh, play the money line too. I wouldn’t be surprised.
