9/13/20 Best Bet: An old school NFC North showdown today. The handicap on this game is pretty straightforward. Green Bay is no longer Aaron Rodgers slinging the ball all over the field. He can still do that occasionally, but not as accurately as he used to. With Matt LaFleur as the head coach, this is a running team. This is Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon’s team. I expect the Packers to keep it on the ground. The Packers also happened to have one of the worst defenses against the run DVOA last year. They barely made any additions to that side of the ball. I expect run-heavy Minnesota and the newly paid (bag is secured) Dalvin Cook to keep it on the ground. Running the ball = eating clock. Eating clock = less scoring. Less scoring = the under. Shop around and see if a book is offering a 45 - that’s a key number, but I like this as is.
