Cleveland Browns -6 (-110) vs. Cincinnati Bengals

9/15/20 Best Bet: Everyone witnessed how bad the Browns were on Sunday. I’m sure we all got the collective, “they are the Browns, they will always suck.” I’m not the arbiter of whether the perpetual cloud will ever be lifted off of Cleveland. (Probably not, it’s Cleveland). Here’s what I do know though: Joe Burrow is a rookie, this is his first road game and this is his first Thursday game. These things are not a good combination if you want to back the Bengals. Yes, the Bengals looked OK against the Chargers, but I think that’s a byproduct of how the Chargers are going to be playing games this year. If you noticed, the Chargers D line had him running for his life. I think Myles Garrett and company will do the same. Also, the Browns have talent. They haven’t gelled yet and this is a new coaching staff. Ultimately, this comes down to Week 1 overreactions. The look ahead line with this game was Browns -7.5 last week, what has changed? Not much: the Browns lost a road game to arguably the best team in the NFL and the Bengals hung tight against a Chargers team that is determined to win games 17-14 this year. Gimmie the Browns to cover up to a TD.
