Cleveland Browns -3 (-115) vs. Cincinnati Bengals

10/22/20 Best Bet: This is a classic public perception spot. Everyone saw the Browns get utterly trounced against Pittsburgh last weekend. Baker got benched! Team in turmoil! The Browns are bad again! On the flipside, everyone saw the Bengals come out of the gate hot and push the Colts in one of the biggest covers of the weekend for the books. Well, everyone (the Public) needs to calm down. Baker might have been hurt and was pulled in a blowout. Secondly, past performance is not indicative of future results. Last time these two teams played, the Browns ran the ball, ran it right down the Bengals throats (215 total rush yds) and ran it some more. Well, that’s pretty much the same handicap here. The Browns want to run. They need a bounce back W. Yes, Nick Chubb is out, but Kareem Hunt is still in and this is a guy who has won an NFL rushing title before and averaged 8.6!!! yds/carry in the last matchup between these two teams. I think the Browns want to just make Baker Mayfield a game manager and not take any chances. On the other side of the ball, Burrow was sacked 3 times and hit about a million times. The Bengals offensive line is still atrocious and may eventually get Burrow hurt. I like the Browns to basically just win the game here (-3). Do shop for the number, as there are some -3.5 and you wouldn’t want to eat the hook.
