10/17/20 Best Bet: Da Bears! Yes, again. I do not get the disrespect for this team. They are 4-1 in the NFL, which is no easy feat. They overcame a QB change (in the middle of the game, nonetheless) and flourished. The defense is solid, the coaching is creative and they are overcoming adversity. Through their 5 games the Bears have yet to have an offensive breakout. I think that may come this week. While everyone is enamored with the Panthers 3 game winning streak, they are losing sight of the fact that this defense is still very young and not particularly good. The Panthers are most susceptible to the run. Now, the Bears are not great running the ball but they will finally have an opportunity to do so (past games have seen them matched up against Tampa and Indy - both good against the run), which will open up the play action for Nick Foles. I think BDN eats in this game. This line should be a pickem but earlier in the week we were getting +2.5 on the Bears. The line has gone down due to sharp action. I still think there is value here.
