11/15/20 Best Bet: Super Ugly. I can’t stress this enough: to win in the NFL, you have to make bets that others wont. How amazing did the Saints look last week? How horrible did the hobbled 49ers look last week? Both games in primetime for the world (read: the public) to see. So, this one is just a straight fade the public, gimmie the Niners. Yes, they are very injured and yes, the Saints are the better team. But I get a sense that after annihilating the Bucs (division team), the Saints might look to coast here. Another factor that has me on the Niners is Kyle Shanahan, who’s now in that top brass of coaches in the league. He’s very much like Belichick, in that he always finds a way. Yea, I know, not very analytical you say - to that I point you to Belichick’s last 20 years of consistently beating the spread. I think this is a whole lotta points and I don’t see why the Saints need to kill the Niners here. A simple W and go home healthy will do. Gimmie the Niners - there may be +10s available. Take that, if possible.
