4/28/21 Best Bet: The draft is upon us and the action is glorious! I’m laying heavy juice here to pick basically that one running back will be drafted in the first round. This is NOT the same bet that seems popular in the market which says o1.5 RBs selected. I like this bet for two reasons. First, there are a couple of electric backs in this year’s draft; Najee Harris and Travis Etienne. That’s not counting the dark horse of Javonte Williams that seems to be climbing up everyone’s board. Second, the advantage of taking a RB in the first round with the availability of the 5th year option is just too great for teams to pass up in salary cap leagues. How many RBs actually get a second contract? Not many. Better to pick a RB and have them under control for as long as possible under cheap money. I love over 0.5 RBs in the first round. All we need is one to be picked to hit.
