New Orleans Saints -3 (-110) vs. Tampa Bay Bucs

1/17/21 Best Bet: Coming into this year I was very down on the Bucs. I just didn’t think a 43-year old Tom Brady would continue being good. I thought that Gronk was gonna be out of shape. I assumed the secondary would continue to be terrible. But, I was wrong, Brady wasn’t just league average; he was top tier. The Bruce Arians dramas aside, this team has been consistent. The Bucs have dominated defensively and could usually outscore their opponents this year. Except the New Orleans Saints. The Bucs played the Saints twice this year: once in the beginning and another in the middle. Both of those were domination on the part of the Saints. You might excuse the first game, as Brady was getting adjusted to his new team. But the second game was a massacre, where the Bucs couldn’t even score a TD. So, are we really expecting the trend to shift in the third contest? No. There is some matchup advantage the Saints seem to have over the Bucs. Even last year, when there was no Brady, the Saints easily won both games. I think the Saints are cheap at just 3 point favorites today in the dome. The Saints D is top notch this year and I expect them to make Tampa one dimensional, with just having Brady throw. Not to mention, the Saints have the coaching advantage and they are much hungrier with this being Brees’ last season. I expect an all out effort from New Orleans. Geaux Saints!
