So the Giants have the better coach and better QB in this game. Should be a simple bet on the G-men right? Nope. My handicap is straightforward on this one, Josh McDaniels has left the building. And that alone, should energize this team today. They obviously did not like him, as it has come out that several players AND staff let it all air out in a closed meeting prior to losing to the Lions. Apparently, one of the final straws was his starting of Brian Hoyer (1-12 straight up in his last 13 starts) over Aidan O’Connell against the Bears. Funny, cause I remember thinking what an odd decision that was, given that when Jimmy G was out earlier in the season, he started O’Connell. Anyways, that’s all behind us now. Jimmy G is on the bench and AOC is getting the start. Antonio Pierce is the type of motivator that caused one player to say, “I would run through a wall for that man,” this past week. Good. I expect the Giants to score and the Raiders to, as well. I just think the Raiders have better weapons. Gimmie the Raiders in a high scoring affair.
