I’ve heard entirely too much chatter in the past two weeks that the Arizona Cardinals are the best team in the NFL. Yes, people actually believe this. Fine. I will fade that sentiment. I get that I would rather have Jimmy G in this game over Trey Lance (a rookie on the road in his first game). But I like to get Trey Lance early over a defense that doesn’t have much tape on him. The Niners are getting Eli Mitchell back and will be able to run on the Cardinals. Trey Lance will have special packages to run on the Cardinals. I’m getting Kyle Shanahan planning all week to win a game vs. Kliff Kingsbury. This is a divisional game and I’m getting 5.5 points. Yea, I don’t love that George Kittle is out but I have to believe that Niners can keep it close with the weapons they do have. The best bets you can make are the ones that you feel sick about making.
