Ok, hear me out here. The Raiders have given up. They sent their QB home and told him his season is done. The other players are definitely going to take that as a queue to give up as well. The Raiders are starting Jarret Stidham in his first NFL start - against the best defense in the league. This is a recipe for a massive blowout. Now, it’s clear that the Niners will not need to get margin and just want to get out of the game healthy, but honestly, even if they aren’t trying, there is just a massive advantage everywhere you look. I think CMC might have such a big first half that the second half might not even matter. My only fear is being backdoored but that goes back to this team being so dejected that they will be so down in the first half that they will need to make a massive comeback in the second half. Also keep in mind, Brock Purdy is a third stringer, he needs reps heading into the playoffs.
