This line was higher earlier in the week at like -4 or -3.5. It seems the sharp side likes the Eagles. I can see that, everyone is under the impression that Carolina hasn’t beaten anybody yet. There’s a lot of love for the Eagles because of the strength of their lines. Also, CMC is most likely out. Here’s the thing though. I like the Panthers to win at home with at least a FG even with all that. If to start the season, I told you this line, who WOULDN’T be betting the Panthers? I do not understand what the Eagles have actually done to merit such an upgrade in their ranking. They beat a shitty Atlanta team and hung in with the Niners (who were on a back to back East Coast game). That’s really it. They got destroyed by the Cowboys. They hung with KC for a while but ultimately got blown out. I think this line is cheap, as I think Carolina is undoubtedly the better team, at home, to basically just win the game. Sam Darnold baby!
