I’ve bet (and teased down) the Detroit Lions on this Thanksgiving Day. After all these years, I’m getting a good Lions team with something to prove on a national stage. Thanks to the Chargers ineptitude, I am getting the Packers coming into this game off of a win. So no massive urgency here. Plus the Packers are all banged up with injuries to Aaron Jones, Musgrave and more. The biggest advantage the Packers would have here is against the Detroit secondary, that is just flat out bad (see last week against Justin Fields). Well, that would mean I would need Jordan Love to beat me through the air, on the road, on an island game. Yea, I’m good there. Gimmie the Lions who will be able to run right through the Packers. As I’ve noted over and over again the past few years, the Packers are just totally incapable of stopping the run. So now I’m going to have the 1-2 punch of Montgomery and Gibbs…This might get really ugly.
