As soon as I saw this line early this week, it dropped from +5 to +3.5 so quickly, it made my head spin. I quickly took the +3.5 with the reasoning that I don’t understand the line. Sure, The Lions are the better team. But the Bears are coming off of a bye, playing at home, in a division game and against a team they should’ve beat just two weeks ago. Plus the Lions are playing outside in the cold, which means Jared Goff will probably underperform, as he tends to do (especially in Chicago in the winter). Throw in the Lions defensive injuries AND their struggles against mobile quarterbacks and you have a bet. Honestly, the Bears might win outright. Take the points.
