The Detroit Lions secondary is horrible. They have proven it over and over this year. However, their run defense is pretty good. I believe Kyle Shanahan, the best run schemer in the league will want to run the ball. With CMC, I’m sure they’ll be at least some kind of success on the ground. The real edge San Fran has is through the air. The Lions secondary has a real tough time guarding the #1 receiver on a team. Mike Evans had 150+ yards last week. Puka Nacua had over 180 yards receiving before that. And while most people believe that Deebo Samuels is the #1 receiver on the Niners, I disagree. He’s a great playmaker, similar to McCaffery but they are both positionless, as they catch and run the ball. That leaves us with Aiyuk. He will have plenty of chances to win today, as the Lions have to account for Deebo, CMC and Kittle. Take the over on Aiyuk’s receiving yards. Sprinkle a little on an alternate total over 100 yards.
