I have been running this wonderful website since 8/1/20. That’s 2.5 months of my takes, picks, advice and nonsense. I figured it would be nice to see how it was going. The first ever post on this site was about a simple number: 52.4%. This, if you remember, is the hurdle rate. It is the percentage correct you must to be to overcome a -110 vig and be profitable. This is the gold standard in sports betting.

So, how’s it going? In that span of 2.5 months I’m at 54.69%.

Yes, that’s right, I’m clearing the hurdle rate by a little over 2%. It isn’t sexy. It isn’t Vegas Dave’s whale play of the century every day (and twice on some days). It isn’t some crazy astronomical number used by touts on the internet to get you to buy their picks. But, it is real.

This is my overall win percentage over all sports. On sides, totals, series plays, derivatives, etc. I ran pretty hot out of the gate and have had some down weeks lately. Most sites aren’t going to tell you about their down days or weeks. As a matter of fact, most sites won’t even admit to losing streaks. Well, I call bullshit. You cannot be successful in the long term in betting sports without some hot and cold streaks.
