1/9/20 Best Bet: My favorite betting weekend of the year but I don’t love today’s card. Here’s what I do like. I like Russell Wilson keeping it competitive at home against either a hobbled Jared Goff or shaky backup making his second ever start. Yes, I expect the Rams defense to be tough today but it’s just hard to beat Wilson at home and especially hard to do it with him getting a full FG. The Seattle defense is playing well of late as well. As for Washington, it’s quite possible they will have to play Taylor Henike for a significant time today. While that’s not ideal, I have to like Washington getting two touchdowns in a teaser. Tom Brady is very susceptible to interior pressure. This has been true most of his career and has been on display in his playoff history. I think Washington can get that pressure. The problem is I don’t think Washington can score much. If they can, great, this is a great bet. If they can’t, it’s still great to get two full touchdowns when the Football Team will be fully motivated for the entire game.
