I’m on the lowly Rams here for three reasons. 1) Baker Mayfield is playing for his career. He wants another contract next year and with Stafford probably retiring, he is auditioning for the Rams starting job. 2) Sean McVay, who will also most likely be retiring wants to go out on a high note. Another two victories and his overall record looks great and he already has a Super Bowl to boot. 3) The Chargers have already clinched the playoffs. Everyone seems to think teams care so much about seeding. They don’t. They care about being healthy. There is NO reason for the Chargers to get margin here. Gimmie all the points.
