All Superbowls start slow. I can think of maybe one that had a quick score – the Devin Hester touchdown return. That’s about it. There’s that amazing stat of the Tom Brady Pats era where they have scored like a combined 14 points in the 1st quarter of all those Superbowls…combined. It’s natural that teams are cautious and nervous in their biggest ever game. It’s human nature. It also goes against the public’s wishes of wanting to see a bunch of action. This is one that I bet every year. Do it.
