Everyone I have heard, read or spoken with this week has said that this line makes no sense. The train of thought has basically gone like this: this was a -2 line for Washington at the Giants. Both teams played even (literally tied) and the Giants covered the +2. Now, this game is in Washington, what type of homefield would you really give Washington? 1.5 points, max? So why is this line -4.5 and not say, -3.5. It’s because the Giants honestly have no one. Over the last 1.5 months, it’s been quite clear that the Giants can’t keep up with no skill position players. Even Saquon Barkley looks banged up. Washington has been rolling and honestly, one both sides of the ball, is the more talented team. Even with no Chase Young in this game, I like Washington by a TD.
