I do not do this much but I’m on the Bears here due to a hunch. My power ratings have these two teams an obscene 19 points apart. Even if you give the bears 2 points for homefield, that’s a 17 point difference. The handicap on this one is diminishing returns. As we’ve learned in economics, sometimes the numbers are so high, things have to come back down. It was obvious to the public how dominate the Eagles were last week against the Giants. Now, they have to go on the road and lay almost double digits in a game they most certainly know they have in the bag. The Eagles expect to win. But, they also know they have a big game next week against the Cowboys. This is a classic look ahead spot. I can see a scenario where Philly is up huge and pull starters in the late 3rd quarter - opening the backdoor for Chicago.
