Last year I did nothing but fade Sam Darnold. Faded him basically every game after his opening 3 game winning streak. Then he got benched because he was terrible. Like, worst QB in the league terrible. So now, after starting with Baker Mayfield and moving on to PJ Walker, the Panthers are back with Darnold starting again. And here’s the crazy thing, I expect him to be better than Mayfield. At least he can see over the offensive line. At least he can feed DJ Moore. These might seem like insignificant things but Baker couldn’t do them. I’m on the Panthers because I can’t possibly be on the Broncos. Not after last week’s debacle. Nathaniel Hackett is the worst coach in the NFL. That is not a subjective statement. There were at least 3 different moments in last week’s game against the Raiders where I questioned whether Hackett was even paying attention. There is no world where I’m laying points with this Broncos team on the road. I don’t care that their defense is top notch. I don’t care that the Panthers suck. Russ looks extra washed and I’m out of the Broncos business this season.
